P90x DAY 10

That's right, 1/9 of the way there! I am seriously loving this workout. I will admit that the first 4 or 5 days I was so sore that people around me were getting annoyed with my involuntary groans every time I moved, but I just kept working out each night and I would feel better and better after each one. Now that the huge soreness is gone and I have back my full range of motion, I actually enjoy it when I move and feel that soreness or tightness. I already feel stronger, I know on day 1 I was surprised by my lack of abs, but I can already now do all the moves they do in Ab Ripper, just less reps. I feel so good after every workout, I can't believe I never worked out regularly before. It's awesome! Hello, ENDORPHINS! And it's also a great stress relief, especially the Kenpo X - Hi Ya!

Ok, so today was the moment of truth- time to get on the scale. I've never been one of those girls to feel apprehension about getting on the ol' scale, but for the first time in my life I had a fleeting moment of stress before I stepped on. However, I got my payoff. I lost 5 pounds! Wahoo! That is 2 better than my 3 pound goal. I also already feel more toned, and I am so excited to continue this workout!

  2. Jeez I did day 1. Well, I tried day 1. Holy crap. I took a shower after and couldn't lift my arms over my head to wash my hair.

  3. yeaaahh I should have warned you day 1 was the WORST. By day 4's yoga, my triceps were still so tight I couldn't even put my hands together for prayer stance. LOL
