4 Months!

Holy cow! Zade is 4 months old!! (Well, technically he has been since monday ;) ). Here's a picture of the little guy on 10-4-10:

So cute, sitting in his bumbo! Well, time sure does fly when you're having fun, and when you are as busy as Al and I have been lately! Zade is growing just fine, and is a happy, healthy baby. We had his check-up today, and he is now 26 inches tall! That is in the 85%! Crazy. He is weighing in at 14 lbs, 11 oz which is only 45th percentile :) my tall little guy.

We're excited to give him rice cereal for the first time tonight, I'm hoping that will help him sleep through the night (we are up to 6 to 7 hours on the first go), as well as help his appetite. The boy is constantly hungry!! He had some shots today, but was in such a good mood that he only cried for a couple seconds and was totally fine when dad picked him up.

He is teething in full force now, and has 3 or 4 trying to push through on the bottom. He is always putting anything he can get his hands on (which he is getting really good at getting his hands on what he wants to grab) into his sweet little mouth. Not the least of which, his hands and my hair.

His new thing this week is squealing. He still babbles and coos, but he looooves to let go a loud high pitched happy squeal at any given moment. I have to admit, it's pretty adorable :). We are loving and enjoying every moment with our little guy, I am SO envious of stay at home moms!! Snuggling with Zade is just what the doctor ordered after a long day at work.

On another note, our sitter recently informed us that she is no longer watching Zade. So, if anyone out there knows someone they trust who is sitting and is CHEAP, pass the info along my way! I would so appreciate it! I need someone ASAP as she isn't currently watching him as it is and just told us that she isn't going to resume watching him. Thanks everyone!
